Subject Selection Online (SSO) allows students to log in online to make subject selections.

SSO allows school students to choose subjects for the following year based on a multi-step process with enforcement of simple rules. At the end of the selection process, each student can extract a report showing the selections made.

How SSO helps students:

  • eliminates back and forth with teachers - changes can be done immediately

How SSO works:

  • After logging in, students indicate their subject choices via a multi-step process determined by the data appropriate to the intended year of study. If configured, students can select subjects from higher years.
  • The subjects made available for each step are determined by administrators who create a sequence of selection steps. Each step contains one or more groups; each group contains one or more subjects.
  • Subject choices are presented in a variety of ways - check boxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists, text boxes
